Task and specifications from the client

The company approached us on a Friday afternoon with the hopes of obtaining a rush-order sworn/certified translation of supporting documents for the distribution of tools, medical devices, medical consumables, medical technology, and accessories in Slovakia. Thus, the documents were to be sent for review by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic.

The project was submitted by the following day with a total of 20 standard pages in the following language combinations:

• The client received the document for translation at the last minute, thus, the project had to be completed as soon as possible so that the client could comply with the deadline for submission that had been set for them. As texts meant to accompany medical materials, they were very specialised and required extensive knowledge of professional medical vocabulary.
• The project manager simultaneously approached several translators who had collaborated with us on medical texts of the desired specialisation in the past and booked the required number of translators.
